Payments Infrastructure for Digital Assets in Southeast Asia
StraitsX, the leading payment infrastructure for digital assets in Southeast Asia, is a licensed Major Payment Institution (MPI) in Singapore, and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). StraitsX is also the issuer of the XSGD and XIDR stablecoins. XSGD, the first digital Singapore Dollar stablecoin, was first publicly released back in October 2020, followed by XIDR, the Indonesian Rupiah stablecoin in November 2021. Today, individuals and businesses alike are able to tap on the speed and efficiency of XSGD (ERC-20, ZRC-2, POS, HTC, AVAX) and XIDR's (ERC-20, ZRC-2, POS) multichain support, and an ever-growing ecosystem to transact in stablecoins globally. Each StraitsX stablecoin remains redeemable on a one-to-one basis with their respective fiat currencies on the StraitsX platform.
