Basemate

Send money to anyone, anywhere in the world with just a text. One local phone number per country with stablecoin settlement underneath - no wallet, no app, just a text.

Stablemate puts money inside the chats people already live in - iMessage and Google Messages. Text a local number to send money to anyone, anywhere in the world. No new app. No wallet. No explanation of how crypto works. The stablecoin rails are invisible.

Our product is a network of local phone numbers across APAC: one Stablemate number per country, each connected to a licensed local stablecoin issuer. Stablecoins act as the cross-border settlement layer between corridors. Users never touch a bridge; they just text.

We own the messaging interface while local operators own the currency and the regulatory relationship. The result is a two-sided model: operators get a distribution front door that looks like a normal SMS. Users get cross-border payments at the cost of a text. Stablecoins and a cross-chain protocol are the connective tissue between every corridor in the network.

We are expanding the network country by country, starting with the Singapore-Indonesia corridor.

Use Cases

Cross-Border Stablecoin Payments via SMS

Stablemate lets anyone send money across borders by texting a local phone number in iMessage or Google Messages. No wallet, no app. Digital dollars settle between country corridors invisibly while the sender and recipient experience a normal text conversation.

Local Stablecoin On/Off-Ramp Integration

Stablemate partners with licensed local stablecoin issuers in each country with digital dollars acting as the cross-border settlement layer between local stablecoin corridors. Operators provide the mint/redeem and banking rail support while Stablemate provides the distribution: a chat-native front door that requires no crypto knowledge from the end user.
