Non-custodial stablecoin checkout built on Arc. Accept stablecoin payments from any chain - no wallet or custody required.

Currently in testnet, Specie is a non-custodial payment gateway for accepting stablecoins on Arc. Think Stripe Checkout but settling in stablecoins and with no one holding funds in the middle.

Merchants can accept stablecoins through a hosted checkout, an embeddable widget, or a REST API and SDK, with settlement enforced entirely by smart contracts: funds forward straight to the merchant; no party, including Specie, can redirect a payment.

What sets Specie apart is reach. A customer can pay by simply sending stablecoins to a payment address with no wallet connection and nothing to install; even a withdrawal straight from an exchange works. That same address accepts stablecoins across Arc, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Monad: a payment arriving on another chain is bridged to Arc automatically using a cross-chain transfer protocol then settled like a direct transfer.

Built on Arc, with stablecoins as the native settlement asset and cross-chain pay-ins, Specie is being built for merchants and freelancers who need fast, dollar-stable, low-fee payments, especially in markets where card rails are expensive or out of reach.
