Sierra Protocol is the institutional-grade solution for permissionless yield and investment products. Partners can access non-custodial vaults and Liquid Vault Tokens (LVTs) with the exact risk, liquidity, and yield profile they need, backed by any combination of Real-World Assets (RWAs) and onchain yield sources.

Most onchain yield lives in single-strategy, single-chain vaults. This design imposes constraints on the eligible yield sources that the vault can access and the flexibility of the end user experience while opening up depositors to a wide range of exploit, contagion, and collateral risks.

In contrast, Sierra operates the issuance and settlement layers beneath our vaults. Sierra's partners deposit into an existing vault or deploy a new vault and configure its reserves management strategy, with the additional optionality to incorporate their own branding and upgrade the vault token into a fully composable LVT for cross-chain DeFi integration.

  • Asset Origination that includes sourcing any public or private fixed income asset, instrument, or fund - such as Prudential, Fidelity, BlackRock, and Franklin Templeton.
  • Asset Management of reserves by OpenTrade through a bankruptcy-remote SPC, including weekly reserve attestations from a $5B AUM FCA-regulated asset manager - in addition to daily NAV calculation and reporting.
  • Custody of RWA reserves at tier-1 GSIBs such as JPMorgan and the use of Fireblocks for reserves deployed in DeFi with Station70 disaster recovery.
  • Deployment & Issuance by Sierra Reserve Ltd (BVI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Sierra Foundation registered in the Cayman Islands.
