Pivio is the first regulated on-chain debt marketplace which allows institutional investors and issuers to access the primary and secondary bond markets in a transparent and efficient manner.
PV01 is an on-chain debt capital markets business founded in 2022 by B2C2 founders, Max Boonen and Flavio Molendini. PV01 raised $9M in seed funding from Tioga Capital, BlockTower, and Ryze Labs (formerly Sino Global Capital).
Regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), PV01 acts as the arranger and broker-dealer for issuers of digital bonds, and manages the structuring, book-building and sales process to qualified non-US institutional investors through its non-custodial platform, Pivio.
Our first product, the 'TBL' are digitally native bonds that are fully transferable bearer ERC-20 tokens collateralized by a direct, 1-for-1 exposure to a single, underlying US Treasury Bill with the same maturity and face amount. The product is available on an on-demand basis in primary and secondary markets and customizable with various maturities (from 1 week to 12 months).
TBLs gives investors defined investment horizons and the ability to lock in yields and cash flows. Fully transferable, they allow participants to not only invest and trade them for cash management purposes, but also to leverage them as interest-bearing collateral. The company has already successfully completed over $22.5M worth of TBL issuances to non-US institutional investors.
