Set-and-forget rebasing yield aggregators.

What is Origin Protocol?

Origin Protocol is a multichain decentralized finance (DeFi) platform focused on building highly composable yield generation and liquidity primitives. Origin is designed to make powerful DeFi strategies accessible, allowing users to earn auto-compounding passive income without needing to actively manage positions or pay ongoing gas fees.

Core Products:

  • Origin Ether: A liquid staking token (LST) optimized for yield. OETH aggregates Ethereum staking yields and boosts them by deploying collateral into whitelisted DeFi protocols, delivering the combined returns directly to user wallets.
  • Origin Dollar: A yield-bearing stablecoin fully backed by top stablecoins. It uses a rebasing model to automatically distribute yield directly into the holder's wallet while the asset remains fully liquid.
  • Automated Redemption Manager: A specialized liquidity layer that allows users to swap between supported liquid staking tokens and ETH with near-zero slippage. It bases prices on the time value of "borrowing" ETH, providing far greater capital efficiency than traditional Automated Market Makers (AMMs).

The Origin Token:

The Origin Token (OGN) is the value-accrual and governance token for the entire Origin suite. Users who stake OGN receive xOGN relative to the duration of their lock-up period. Holding xOGN grants voting power over protocol parameters and treasury allocations and entitles the staker to a proportional share of the protocol revenue generated by Origin’s yield products.
