Welcome to the machine-to-machine economy.

Modexia is the financial infrastructure and settlement layer for autonomous AI agents.

We enable AI models to autonomously pay for APIs, compute, and data without relying on human credit cards. By leveraging programmable wallets, we provision secure, stablecoin-funded smart contract accounts directly to agentic workflows. Our SDK allows agents to negotiate HTTP 402 paywalls and execute micro-transactions natively onchain. To protect developers, our infrastructure includes a built-in policy engine that enforces strict server-side spending limits.

We abstract the complexity of blockchain and gas fees, providing a plug-and-play rail that gives machines purchasing power.

Use Cases

Autonomous Data Procurement (x402)

When your agent hits an HTTP 402 paywall while scraping premium financial, weather, or research data, it can continue: reading the invoice, paying the micro-fee in stablecoins, and retrieving the data quickly without requiring a human subscription.

Agent-to-Agent (A2A) Commerce

Agents can hire other specialized agents. For example, a primary "Research Agent" can outsource a task to a "Translation Agent," locking a stablecoin bounty in an escrow vault and releasing it only when the translated document is delivered.

Pay-Per-Token LLM Access

Instead of hardcoding your expensive, unlimited OpenAI or Anthropic API keys into every swarm, agents can query specialized, gated LLMs on demand, streaming micropayments per token generated so you only pay for the compute your swarm actually uses.

Digital Asset Purchasing

Content generation and marketing agents can autonomously browse digital marketplaces to buy licensed stock images, audio files, or software keys in real time.

Micro-Bounty Task Resolution

If an autonomous workflow hits a roadblock it can't solve (e.g., a complex CAPTCHA or a niche data labeling requirement), the agent can instantly post a micro-bounty, paying human gig workers or other bots a few cents to resolve the hurdle so the swarm can continue.

Dynamic GPU & Compute Renting

DevOps agents can autonomously hunt for lower cost computing power on decentralized networks (e.g., Akash, Render), spinning up temporary server clusters, streaming sub-cent stablecoin payments per minute, and shutting them down exactly when the task is finished.
