Geomacro

Explainable geopolitical and macro risk intelligence for human and machine decisions. Built to help financial applications and AI agents understand changing real-world risk before they act.

Geomacro turns real-world geopolitical and macroeconomic developments into structured, explainable risk intelligence for human and machine decision-making.

The platform combines live event intelligence with the Global Risk Index (GRI), historical context, supporting evidence, confidence, and change attribution. The goal is not simply to publish another risk score but to help users understand what changed, why it changed, which factors contributed to the movement, and how reliable the underlying signal is.

Geomacro is also building Risk Gate, a pre-execution intelligence layer for financial applications, wallets, and AI agents. It is designed to provide structured, machine-readable country and corridor risk context before an action is taken. A customer’s own policy can then use that context to decide whether to continue, reduce exposure, require human approval, pause, or reroute. Geomacro provides the external risk intelligence while the application remains in control of the final decision.

Transparency and reproducibility are central to the architecture. Risk outputs are being designed so they can be traced to supporting evidence, timestamps, confidence, methodology, and contributing factors rather than delivered as unexplained black-box signals. Machine-readable risk objects are intended to make the same context usable by both people and software.

Geomacro is currently being developed as a commercial risk-intelligence product, with Risk Gate and its agent-facing layer under active development.

A public Testnet environment provides an important technical proving environment for this work. Geomacro has implemented programmable financial workflows using stablecoins and cross-chain transfer protocols, demonstrating how real-world risk intelligence can connect with programmable money and autonomous financial systems. Earlier prediction-market work remains part of this technical proof and experimentation layer.

The longer-term goal is simple: help people and machines understand when the external risk environment has changed before they make consequential financial decisions.

Use Cases

Global Risk Intelligence

Geomacro turns geopolitical, macroeconomic, and strategic resource developments into structured, explainable risk intelligence. The Global Risk Index (GRI) combines risk scores with supporting evidence, confidence, freshness, and change attribution, helping analysts and decision-makers understand not only how risk is changing, but what changed, why it changed, and which factors contributed to the movement.

Risk Gate for Financial Applications & AI Agents

Risk Gate is being developed as a pre-execution risk layer for financial applications, wallets, and autonomous agents. It provides structured, machine-readable external risk context before an action is taken. A customer’s own policy can then use that context to decide whether to continue, reduce exposure, require approval, pause, or reroute. Geomacro provides the risk intelligence; the customer remains in control of the final action.

Explainable Risk & Change Attribution

Geomacro is designed to make risk changes inspectable rather than operate as a black box. When a published risk score moves, the system aims to show which underlying factors changed, how they contributed to the movement, the supporting evidence, confidence, timestamps, and methodology used. This creates a clearer audit trail for both human analysis and machine-driven decisions.

Grounded Research & Decision Intelligence

Ask Geomacro helps users investigate geopolitical and macroeconomic developments using structured intelligence, historical context, evidence, and Geomacro’s published risk framework. It is designed for analysts, financial professionals, researchers, and other decision-makers who need to understand what is happening, why it matters, and how changing conditions may affect their decisions without relying on unexplained AI-generated conclusions.
