The leading onchain security and compliance layer.

Forta Firewall is the leading onchain security and compliance layer, providing real-time transaction screening for blockchains, rollups, and appchains, already screening millions of transactions per day across leading ecosystems

Forta Firewall blocks malicious and non-compliant activity - from exploits and scams to sanctions violations - before execution, delivering sub-10ms performance, plug-and-play integration, and comprehensive auditability.

Use Cases

Ink Integrates Forta Firewall

Forta Firewall is now live on Ink L2, an Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain built on the Optimism Superchain. The integration delivers real-time monitoring for exploits and scams, enhancing a critical layer of defense for users and developers against malicious activity. This plug-and-play model removes the complexity from enhancing security tooling available to users and builders across chains, making it easy for new rollups and appchains to adopt real-time protection from day one.

Plume Partners with Forta to Elevate Security

Plume, a leading Layer-1 for RWA tokenization with 180+ applications slated to launch and $3 billion of available assets, is enhancing its security and compliance capabilities through a strategic integration with Forta Firewall. This partnership ensures robust protection against smart contract exploits and compliance breaches, enabling institutional investors to safely deploy capital within Plume’s ecosystem. Forta Firewall integrates directly into Plume at the RPC level. Most rollups have a public RPC that doubles as the sequencer RPC. Plume transactions are routed through this single entry point before going to the sequencer for ordering and execution. Rerouting transactions to Firewall happens via a JSON API call. Transactions first pass through a compliance check before being screened by Firewall’s AI-based risk engine. Firewall returns a 200 message for transactions deemed low risk, and a 403 message for transactions deemed high risk (i.e., those that received a risk score above the blocking threshold set by the Firewall user). High risk transactions get dropped at that stage, while low risk transactions get forwarded to the sequencer.

Bringing "Security by Default" to Celo Layer-2

By integrating Forta Firewall directly at the sequencer layer, Celo now offers "security by default". Every transaction is screened before reaching the network's sequencer. Suspicious transactions are delayed for review, allowing Celo ecosystem participants (including the cLabs’ security team and/or application developers) to take action without needing to halt or disrupt the chain.
