Leveraging instant, card-less stablecoin-based cross-border payments, Emigro seeks to enable travelers and nomads to use their own currency while accessing the best local payment method at their destination, such as Pix in Brazil.
Visitors to Brazil are not able to access the popular local payment method, Pix, which has now surpassed cash and credit card payment volume there. The Emigro wallet is integrated with a Brazilian BaaS partner to enable these visitors to make Pix payments in the same way that locals would, without the vendors requiring any changes to their existing point-of-sale system or any knowledge of blockchain or the Emigro wallet.
