Crypto charge card powered by your onchain portfolio and financial behavior.

Contro allows users to access real-world liquidity without liquidating their positions.

By analyzing onchain portfolio health and financial behavior, Contro extends a line of credit that settles in digital dollars. Users can spend freely while their underlying assets remain staked while continuing to compound and /or appreciate.

Contro offers the freedom of spending with the upside of holding.

Use Cases

Crypto-Backed Liquidity & Spending Limits

Contro uses onchain asset collateralization to extend instant spending limits to users. Instead of selling volatile assets (e.g., ETH, BTC) and creating taxable events, users borrow against their portfolio. These spending limits are denominated and settled in digital dollars, providing a stable medium of exchange for daily spending while the user's underlying portfolio continues to compound over time.

Real-Time Settlement Rails

Contro bridges the gap between DeFi and traditional payments. When a user swipes their card, the transaction is settled in real-time on the backend. Users can choose to repay their outstanding balance using stablecoins directly from their wallet, supporting fast, low-cost, and transparent settlement without the friction of traditional banking rails.

Everyday Spending with Onchain Assets

Contro enables users to use their onchain wealth at millions of existing e-commerce merchants. By abstracting the complexity of DeFi lending into a simple card interface, it allows digital asset holders to transact globally with the same ease as a traditional fiat debit card.
