Lens, part of Avara, the Web3 technology company, first launched in 2022. Aave

Aave is a non-custodial, open-sourced decentralized liquidity protocol that allows users to act as depositors and earn passive income, as well as borrow a wide range of digital assets without the need of third-party intermediaries. Core capabilities include risk mitigation features such as supply and borrow caps, and flash loans which allow users to borrow and repay assets within the same blockchain transaction block. GHO is a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin that is native to the Aave Protocol. The Aave Protocol is fully governed by the Aave Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Family

GHO

GHO (pronounced "go") is the only decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin native to the Aave Protocol that is initially only minted from assets supplied to the Aave Protocol. GHO’s value is programmatically aligned to the U.S. Dollar, which will be maintained through market efficiency. As a decentralized stablecoin on the Ethereum Mainnet, GHO is minted by users.
