Arculus

Tap-to-pay enabled hardware wallet for self-custody and payments.

Arculus makes the familiar payment form factor into a multifunction security device. A single card can function as a crypto cold storage wallet, a hardware (FIDO2 Passkey) authenticator, and a payment card - all in one.

Arculus is part of CompoSecure (NASDAQ:CMPO), the world's largest manufacturer of metal payment cards (e.g., American Express, Chase, Gemini, Capital One, Crypto.com, and more).

Arculus sells hardware wallets both direct to consumers and via white-labeled B2B partners.

Use Cases

Self-Custody

Traditional hardware wallets are secure but painfully difficult to use and not designed to be useful for day-to-day transactions. Arculus changes that by offering a cold storage wallet with the ease of use of a hot wallet while maintaining the security of a cold wallet. Transactions require three-factor authentication: something you have (your Arculus Card), something you know (your Arculus PIN), and something you are (your biometrics).

P2P Remittances

Arculus makes sending money abroad secure, fast, and inexpensive. As a self-custody wallet, users maintain control of their assets. Additionally, Arculus offers a wide variety of on/off-ramp options including MoneyGram.

USD Access

Own digital dollars and securely hold your private keys on your Arculus card.

Payments

Arculus combines the functionality of payments over traditional Visa/Mastercard rails with crypto self-custody and FIDO2 Passkey signing on the same physical device – a metal card that is easy to use and easy to carry. Additionally, Arculus offers a tap-to-pay POS terminal and integration for use with Arculus wallets. QR code payments are also supported for other wallets.
