Arcapis

Pay-per-call AI APIs for agents, paid in digital dollars on Arc. With a shared embeddings cache, once the first agent pays every agent thereafter gets the same answer for free.

Arcapis is an AI API gateway built for AI agents.

Agents pay per call in digital dollars on Arc with no accounts, API keys, or credit cards.

How It Works:

  • Packets: An agent's owner buys a packet - an ERC-721 NFT that holds prepaid calls to one model. Unused calls can be resold on the Arcapis marketplace.
  • Pay Per Call With x402: Embeddings can be bought one call at a time through gateway nanopayments, at $0.0008 per call, from a gateway balance on any supported chain. No packet, account, or API key needed.
  • Shared Embeddings Cache: Answers are cached by request, not by buyer. The first agent pays for an embedding and any agent that sends the same text later gets it for free. Cache batches are committed to Arc as Merkle roots, so anyone can verify an answer.

Use Cases

Shared Embeddings Cache for RAG Agents

Agents that build search, memory, or RAG embed the same FAQs, docs, and product catalogs again and again. With Arcapis, the first agent pays for an embedding and every agent that sends the same text later gets it for free, with a Merkle proof on Arc.

Pay-Per-Call AI with x402, No API Keys

An agent can pay $0.0008 per embedding call over x402 with nanopayments from a stablecoin balance on any of 12 chains. No account, API key, or credit card needed, plus no gas for the buyer.

Prepaid AI Quota for Agent Teams

A team can buy a packet of calls on Arc - an NFT it holds in its own wallet - and gives its agent a call key. Calls stop the moment the packet changes hands, and failed calls are refunded.
